English Some Docky 2 features such as theming are really good things, but it really needs Gnome-Do compatibility ! Here are some themes I made while playing aroud with Docky 2...Also included replacement icons, they're not very different from the original ones, I just wanted them to be a bit smooth.
Attention : PlasticGlass has to be used in 3D background mode ! Please choose the correct dock size. Inlaid looks better when using the panel mode !
Install script is provided, only double click it, and confirm if asked (make sure it is executable).
Any suggestion is welcome. Feedbacks are appreciated.
Changelog v0.2 - December 31th 2009 : - menu background fixed (Inlaid) - install script fixed v0.1 - December 27th 2009 : - first release
Well, I currently am not able to do so. But .svg files can easily be converted to .png files : - Inkscape provides a bitmap export feature (here, bitmap means raster picture, not .bmp filetype) - Gimp can render .svg files to raster pictures (and you then can save to any filetype) - if imagemagick is installed, you can batch convert .svg files by typing in a console 'convert -background non *.svg *.png'
Sorry for not being able to convert them by myself. I can't use my own computer - its motherboard is dead - and I can't install programms on my sister's computer without her approval.
awww damn, yeah i'll have to use gimp to get em' i didnt think about that, cuz i rarely use it, i like photoshop better lol, i have cs2 on linux through wine, and cs4 on windows.......hope you get a new board brotha, that sucks something serious.
I don't know if Photoshop can read .svg files, Illustrator is supposed to be able to do so. But I've been told Illustrator sucks in .svg rendering (don't know wich version it was, perhaps the last version works fine with .svg). I'll buy a new computer, but I need to earn some more money and/or stumble upon attractive ads...
oh i figured it out by the way lol it took me awhile cuz the program is called docky 2.0 whatever and it confused me cuz i thought it was called docky 2 lol well i got i and tried it out its pretty nice looking, but there isnt stacks in this program is there?
i have no clue where to find them lol, i do have AWN just because i know how to do alot to it, but i have docky aswell, i cant figure out how to change icons in it, if u had a port of your theme for AWN i would gladly use it
Well, it's been a while - almost 2 years - since the last time I used AWN...I've been running a dock-free desktop for a while in the meantime. About the icons, Docky actually uses the system icon theme.
